My Innovative Matte Lip

So I have come up with my own at home version of a matte lip. I used a lipstick that I already had that wasn't a super shine (px classic red cream) I then used a lip liner similar to the lipstick color (f21 classic red lip pencil) then set it with a translucent powder (clinique loose translucent powder) I went pretty heavy on the translucent to get my desired look but it came out perfect!! Matte Nail

Have you guys seen those new matte nails??? I for one love them & think they will pair well with falls reinvented matte lip. I'm about to try some new look & of course post so you can see! :-) 

How bout this matte lip! I think this fall it will surely be everywhere. I have only seen a good matte lip stick with mac, and nyx... by sept I'm sure more brands will cater to this look til then get the nyx brand. Its awesome! Note: this look is called matte not dry. 

New nail art

First they had caviar nail art. Now there are velvet nails. Imma be honest the concept is pretty dope but I tried it on my own nail and it looks like crap... I got it from sephora and even the displays looked like booty. I mean it feels cool like your grandmothers sweater but it sure doesn't look like it... It takes some practice I'm sure, to get it to look like the the model hands on the box. But I'm going to try again. Maybe it can be mastered. The caviar nails aren't easy either so if you get the kit I would advise you to take it to that friend who is an aspiring nail tech or a real nail tech.

Dirty Deals!!!!!!

So they say big things come in small packages. Well who knew it was a small price too!!! These NYX pigments are super good for the price. I payed about 2 dollars at my local beauty supply store and at ulta. The pigments show up really well. I do advise using a primer as with any color. They also have great lipsticks and pallets with glitter filled shadows. I love the colors & options they have. My next big purchase would be their directors chair... Now that I have settled in houston I'm going to be offering my mua services!!! Also check out the nyx website and download their app. It's pretty cool because you can find your similar shade and see what lipsticks would look good on you.  :-)  happy barging finding people!!!
